The SSM (Surface Shovel Mount) is a billet aluminum mounting bracket designed to  mount onto flat applications, such as Roof racks, carrier boxes, and MOLLE panels. Dual mounting angles allow for better clearance when mounting near roof rails or other obstacles. Threaded holes in the rear allow you to mount this directly onto the surface with 1/4-20 hardware (included). Mounting holes are spaced 6" apart.
