Warranty, Terms & Conditions

Limited Warranty

Warranty Coverage

Outpost Vans, LLC (“Outpost Vans”) provides a limited warranty on its in-house manufactured parts (identified with the Outpost Vans logo). These products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of thirty-six (36) months from the date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

Products manufactured by third parties and resold by Outpost Vans are not covered under this warranty. Customers must rely on the original manufacturer’s warranty, if available, for those items.

What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not apply to the following:

  • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to:

    • Scratches, chips, or scuffs on painted or powder-coated finishes caused by regular use (e.g., mounting or stepping on parts).

    • Components that naturally wear down over time, such as sway links or other moving hardware.

  • Damage due to improper use or handling, including but not limited to:

    • Incorrect installation (whether self-installed or by a third party).

    • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or use outside of the product’s intended purpose.

    • Unauthorized modifications or alterations.

    • Lack of proper care or maintenance.

  • Rust or corrosion: Outpost Vans warrants against rust for sixty (60) days from the date of purchase. While we use protective finishes and stainless-steel hardware, exposure to road salt, water, and other environmental conditions makes rust unavoidable over time.

  • Improper application: This warranty is valid only when the product is used in the way it was designed. Overloading, altering, or installing the product on a vehicle it was not intended for voids all warranty coverage.

Available Remedies

If a product is determined by Outpost Vans to be defective and covered under this Limited Warranty, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the defective part, or

  • Replace it with a new or refurbished part of comparable quality, or

  • Refund the original purchase price of the product.

These remedies are the sole and exclusive options available to the customer under this Limited Warranty.

Warranty Claims Process

To file a claim:

  1. Contact Outpost Vans at info@outpostvans.com with the subject line: “Warranty Claim – [Product Name]”.

  2. Include:

    • Proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order number).

    • A description of the issue.

    • Photos clearly showing the defect.

  3. Return the part to Outpost Vans’ designated facility. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from our facility and assume the risk of loss during transit.

We aim to respond to warranty inquiries within 14 business days once all required information has been received.

State Law Notice

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, which may vary from state to state.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage customers to contact info@outpostvans.com to attempt to resolve warranty issues informally. If no resolution can be reached, disputes may be addressed through arbitration or other legal remedies permitted under California law.

Installation Services

Outpost Vans provides a twelve (12) month workmanship warranty for installation services performed at our facilities on parts purchased directly from Outpost Vans. This service warranty does not extend to installations performed on third-party parts purchased elsewhere.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outpost Vans’ liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of defective parts or services as outlined above. Outpost Vans is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or business interruption.

California Proposition 65

Some products sold by Outpost Vans may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. More information can be found at www.p65warnings.ca.gov.

Responsibility for Aftermarket Modifications

Installing aftermarket parts may alter your vehicle’s safety features, crashworthiness, or compliance with the manufacturer’s warranty. By purchasing and installing such parts, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for these changes and their consequences.

Outpost Vans does not conduct crash testing or federal safety certification of aftermarket components.

Transferability

This Limited Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser. It cannot be transferred, assigned, or extended to subsequent buyers of the product or vehicle.

Vehicle Registration Responsibility

Some vehicle modifications or conversions may require reclassification or re-registration with your state’s motor vehicle authority. The customer assumes all responsibility for compliance with such regulations.

Customer Indemnity

By purchasing and installing aftermarket parts or services from Outpost Vans, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Outpost Vans harmless from any third-party claims or liabilities that result from the modification of your vehicle.

Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

Outpost Vans is not responsible for incidental or liquidated damages. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the product.

All deliveries are made EXW (FOB origin). Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer once the product is provided to the carrier. Shipping dates are estimates only; delays in delivery are not grounds for liability.

California law governs all transactions between Outpost Vans and its customers.

2. Credit Card Processing Fee Policy

If an order totaling more than $500 is canceled, a 5% non-refundable processing fee will apply to cover payment processor charges.

3. Website Disclaimer

All content, materials, and information provided on the Outpost Vans website are offered on an “as is” basis. Outpost Vans makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of these materials. This includes disclaimers of implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property rights.

Outpost Vans does not guarantee results from using any materials on our website or linked third-party sites.

Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property, trademarks, and copyrighted materials on the Outpost Vans website remain the exclusive property of Outpost Vans LLC.
