Shipping Policy

If you have questions regarding our shipping process, please contact us at info@outpostvans.com.

Order Processing

All orders are processed during normal business hours. Please allow 3–5 business days for processing before shipment. Processing times may be longer during holidays, peak seasons, or when items are backordered or custom-made. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking details via email.

Lead Times on Fabricated & Custom Products

Fabricated or made-to-order products (including cabinetry, welded aluminum parts, or other specialty items) may require extended production lead times before shipment. Estimated timelines will be provided at checkout or order confirmation but are subject to change based on workload and material availability.

Delivery Timeframes & Limitations

Outpost Vans works hard to ensure timely delivery, but we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions or natural disasters

  • Labor strikes, shortages, or carrier disruptions

  • Acts of God or government authority

  • Inventory shortages, supply chain disruptions, or backorders

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information

Shipping charges are non-refundable for delays resulting from events outside our control.

Tracking & Delivery Responsibility

Tracking information is provided when your order ships. Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, Outpost Vans is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages. Customers are responsible for contacting the carrier to resolve delivery disputes.

Carriers & Shipping Methods

We primarily ship via FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Options may include:

  • FedEx / UPS Ground: Delivery in 1–5 business days depending on destination.

  • FedEx Home Delivery: Residential service, often including weekends.

  • FedEx Express Saver / UPS 3 Day Select: Delivery in 3 business days.

  • USPS First Class or Priority Mail: Economical options for smaller items.

Please see each carrier’s website for their specific service terms.

Freight Shipments (Oversized Items)

Large or oversized products (such as bumpers, racks, cabinetry, suspension, or wheels) ship via truck freight.

  • The carrier will call you to schedule delivery.

  • You must inspect shipments before signing. Any damage must be noted on the delivery receipt as “damaged – pending inspection.”

  • Signing without inspection, or authorizing delivery without a signature, waives your right to file a damage claim.

  • Storage fees, redelivery costs, or missed appointment fees are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Refused freight shipments (except for documented shipping damage) will have return shipping, storage, and restocking fees deducted from your refund.

Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Custom, fabricated, or made-to-order items may require extended lead times. These items are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has begun.

Drop-Ship Items

Some items ship directly from the manufacturer. Lead times and availability depend on the manufacturer’s processes. Tracking will be sent once items leave the manufacturer.

International Shipping

International shipments may be subject to duties, taxes, and fees as determined by the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • The buyer is the importer of record and must comply with all import laws and regulations.

  • Customs agencies may inspect or delay shipments. Outpost Vans has no control over these processes.

  • Manufacturer warranties and product manuals may not apply outside the U.S.

  • Voltage, certifications, and labeling may differ in other countries. Customers are responsible for ensuring compatibility and lawful import.

Hazardous & Restricted Materials

Certain products (e.g., batteries, adhesives, or electrical components) may be classified as hazardous by carriers. Outpost Vans complies with shipping regulations for these products. Additional fees or restrictions may apply.

Signature Requirements

For orders valued over $500, a signature may be required at delivery. Outpost Vans is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once the carrier confirms delivery.

Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. Extra charges caused by incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, or unclaimed packages are the responsibility of the buyer.

Split Shipments & Partial Fulfillment

Orders containing multiple items may ship separately depending on stock and warehouse location. In some cases, Outpost Vans may partially fulfill an order to avoid delays. Customers will not be charged additional shipping fees for backordered items sent later.

Storage Fees (Freight Deliveries)

If freight shipments cannot be delivered within the carrier’s holding window, storage fees may be applied. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package (freight or ground) is returned to Outpost Vans as undeliverable or refused for reasons other than documented damage, the customer will be responsible for return shipping, restocking fees, and any related carrier charges.

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

You must notify Outpost Vans within 7 days of delivery if an item is missing, incorrect, or arrives damaged. Keep all original packaging for carrier inspections.

  • If a replacement is sent, a prepaid return label will be provided. Items not returned within 30 days will result in charges for the replacement.

  • Failure to report issues within 7 days may void eligibility for claims.

Title & Risk of Loss

Title and risk of loss pass to the customer once an order is delivered to the carrier. Outpost Vans is not liable for damage, theft, or loss once an order is in transit, except as required by law.

Estimated vs. Actual Shipping Costs

Shipping rates shown at checkout are estimates. If actual shipping costs are higher due to weight, size, delivery location, or special handling requirements, Outpost Vans may contact you before fulfillment to collect the difference.

Restocking Fees (Non-Damaged Returns)

Returns of non-damaged items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% to cover inspection and handling costs.

Alaska, Hawaii, & Remote Deliveries

Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other remote/rural locations may require additional shipping charges and may take longer than standard transit times.

Customer Responsibility for Fitment

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are compatible with their specific vehicle make, model, and year. Outpost Vans is not responsible for costs associated with incorrect purchases due to fitment errors.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Damage claims are subject to carrier investigation and approval. Outpost Vans will assist customers with filing claims but cannot guarantee reimbursement.

Holiday Cutoff Dates

To ensure delivery by specific holidays, orders must be placed by the published cutoff dates. Outpost Vans is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has been shipped.

Order Modification Policy

Once an order is placed, modifications (including address changes, product substitutions, or cancellations) may not be possible if the order has already entered processing or production.

Export Restrictions

Certain products may be restricted from export under U.S. or international regulations. Outpost Vans reserves the right to cancel any order that cannot legally be shipped to the destination country.

Installation Scheduling Disclaimer

Customers should not schedule vehicle installation services until all ordered parts are received and inspected. Outpost Vans is not responsible for costs incurred from missed or delayed installation appointments due to shipping delays.

Privacy & Customs Compliance

International shipments may be inspected by customs or postal authorities. Outpost Vans may be required to provide order details to carriers or government agencies to comply with applicable regulations.

Force Majeure

Outpost Vans is not responsible for delays or failure to deliver orders due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, labor shortages, supply chain interruptions, or carrier disruptions.
